If I remember correctly a shiny Golduck has a darker shade of blue along with it beak and webbed parts are light pink.

I still consider Greninja's release the laziest writing in all of Pokemon. Like they realized in the last minute he's too OP to be with ASH so they threw in an excuse for Greninja to be left behind.

Honestly, Greninja deserves a REALLY good entrance when returning to the show. As well as a really good story for the episode- even if it's just a cameo. Poor baby deserved better.

Yeah I miss him too, but it was necessary for Greninja to be released as it was the oonly pokemon that able to detect the root so he need to protect the Kalos from it. Maybe after cleaning all the root from Kalos he will be back? Not really possible though.

Well it's because the anime is slowly turning more like the games, shouldn't the catching of a shiny be more like first gain its trust or prove you self worthy. For ashes Noctowl he had to gain its trust and many trainer previously who owned a shiny had shown their bond in the anime. Goh chatched a shiny and will never use it again .. it makes me sad, as someone who has been watching pokemon since birth, how bad the anime is turning day by day .
